New Faculty
Biological Systems Engineering Erkan Instanbulloughla is an assistant professor with a joint appointment in BSE and geosciences. Instanbulloughla received his Ph.D. from UNL and held a postdoctoral position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Yasar Demirel is joining the faculty as a senior lecturer. He replaces Donald R. Nelson, who retired in May. Demirel previously taught at Virginia Tech University.

Construction Engineering and Management Young-Suk Kim from Inha University in Incheon, Korea, has a one-year appointment as a visiting professor. Kim will be working with Assistant Professor Yong Cho on automation and robotics in construction.
